new 302 need help
hello i just rebuilt my 302 it was bord 30 over and the crank was ground 10 under i but a holley 4160 600 cfm carb that was used on an old dead 78 302 now when i slow down it back fiers and when i acelerate i back fiers and some times it stalls i am not good at tuning a moter but if i am pointed in the right direstion i usaly can figur it out

If it backfired dont forget to check the carb for a blown power valve. This could be part of the problem if its an old carb that wasnt rebuilt. It getting too much gas then blowing it back out the carb.
