When I get my F-150 from the shop,I would like to put a good muffler on it.I want a decent sound, but I would like something that could possibly give me a little more power.I was thinking of going with Flowmaster, but I'm not sure.I love how they sound on V8's...but I've never heard one on an I6.
My freind has 88 or 89 f150 with a 300. he put a flow tech muffler on he ordered from summit racing. I dont know about more power, but it sounded pretty good. had a nice rumble to it, almost sounded like v8.

VERY nice deep sound to it.
This is more of what I was thinking about. Are you talking about two Flowmaster mufflers or a single inlet/dual outlet?
I'm all stainless from the cat back. Super cab plus long bed, lots of pipe. Not cheap by any stretch of the immagination, but it should last. I've had it 21 years, maybe another 21?
I'm in the same shape you're in...SuperCab plus 8' bed.I'll probably go aluminized since I'll be putting a header or something on some later day.I just want something that will last a few years 'till I get ready to do something else lol.
