Shiners swap meet this weekend

There is a swap meet here in Wichita this weekend. I saw one commercial for it but haven't seen anything else. Last year it was at the Greyhound park. Anyone have any details on this????? I really want to go.

What a Shriner is.

If you guys would like infomation on what a shriner is. Check out this web site www.shrinershq.org/shrine/welcome.html. I'm a Shriner here in Kansas. I belong to the Salina Chapter.

fordfan,

I hope you weren't offended. We were just goofing around. My dad was a shriner for many years. You guys do some good work for the community.

Thanks for the info. Everything was in jest. My grandfather was a Master Mason and made sure both my dad and uncle became Masons. My uncle too reached Master Status, unfortunatly my father passed before reaching the goal. So there is a lot of history in my family and a lot of respect. The Shriners do great work and are wonderful to watch and be around. The article was interesting reading, I learned somethings that I didn't know. As I said my dad passed before being able to take me down that road.
