Not Ready Codes
I have a 1998 and receiving not ready codes for the following I/M Monitors
1.Evap System
2.O2
3.HO2
I have tried the correct driving cycle recommended however I can not get the codes to show ready.
I am not getting any MIL error codes.
My state only allows for 2 not ready codes in order to pass the OBD11 inspection.
Any suggestions out there?

Hi jbm and welcome to the forum 
Have you disconnected your battery lately?
If so then you will get the P1000 code which means all the monitors aren't complete.
If you haven't disconnected it then you could have a code stored in memory that should help tell you why the monitors wont complete.
If there are no trouble codes then you might have something that has made the PCM lose it's Keep Alive Power such as a blown fuse or bad connection.
Please let us know what you find.

Code Not Ready

I checked the 5 amp fuse and it is OK. The other I/M codes are indicating ready such as the catalyst and EGR. I only need to get one more code to indicate ready inorder to pass the state inspection.

Try to make sure that your truck has between 1/2 and 3/4 tank of gas before you park it for the night. The next am, start the truck and wait about 15 secs before you put it into gear. Then drive a steedy 60 mph for about 10 miles. Do not drive hard or agressive during this time easy does it. This should set your EVAP Moniter. You may need to set the other moniters first if they are not set, then try to set your EVAP moniter last after the truck has set over night. DO NOT HIT THE CLEAR CODES ON THE scan tool after setting all your moniters, or you will need to start over. Good luck

All codes are Now Ready. The problem was the thermostat not getting up to 192F.Max it would go was 165F. I discounted the battery for 10 mins. Replaced the the thermostat with new one (broke the housing had to replace that, stupid me) and than through the drive cylce and the OBD11 passed the State test with flying colors.
