Another source for gas is Thoroughbred Industrial Cylinder Exchange (www.gaspony.com). My local Tractor Supply is a dealer for this program. You buy a cylinder (or supply one of yours) and pick up a filled one in exchange plus the cost of filling it. Or you can buy a cylinder from them. Costs are about $87 for a 20cf, $130 for a 40cf, $180 for a 80cf, and $207 for a 125cf. This is argon/CO2 gas (75/25) and includes the cylinder and the gas. The neat thing is that you can upgrade to a larger tank if you want the next time you return a cylinder for exchange. Finally, refill prices range between $12 to $22 based on cylinder volume.

Thats a great price for a fill, especially on the 125. A few bucks steep for the bottle, but well made up on the refills.

Wow! I'm looking bad with egg on face as I shopped around and got the lowest price for "owner own" bottle, 280 cu/ft of 75/25 or C25 for $198. Yes one of the joys of living in California, San Francisco bay area. I did good with my Miller 251 with 30A spool gun and twin bottle rack, out the door at $2,506. Many welding suppliers wanted $700-
$760 more. Just think whats shipping for a 280 bottle from out of state? NUFF BSN 4 NOW. Carl. .........................o&o>..................... .........
