jee i remember my first prom. o wait...that was last year. it was pretty sucky too. went with a girl i didnt know all too well...she asked me. kind of one of them "well i dont have a date...so ull have to do" type of things. well i went, and i never even danced with her besides the first dance. ended up dancing with one of my friends's date about 4 or 5 times. it was all good tho. decided not to go this year...and probly wont go next either. perhaps ill just sit at home and work on my pickup. course never know i might have a g/f by next year.....HAHA like thatll ever happen.
Here's some tips from an old pro. HA, yeah right. No really, this is good info incase you need it. Just trying to help. Oh, and I have learned through my relationships that most blondes are indeed very intelligent and will surprise you. I love blondes.
Get lots of confidence man, be bold, not a jerk, be somewhat sensitive and start a conversation with a girl that looks cute. Not, the most drop dead gorgeous girl in school. You have to learn to crawl before you can walk so stay away from the trophy(gasp) girls. Give the girl a compliment. No not nice caboose or something of that nature. And no pick up lines like "Nice pants, I could really see myself in them" doesn't work, atleast not with all girls. Just say "hi" if you can't say anything else. That'll break the ice and it is amazing how that word can do wonders.
good info piper...but where i go to school...theres not too many girls that id like to go out with. i go to a school with roughly 70 students 7-12. there is a couple i dont mind...ones in my class, and ones a year older. the older one already has a good relationship with a guy, and the one in my class likes the little stuck ups (imo thats what they are) u know the "skater boys"...wanna be rappers...and im a country boy if u will.....work on a farm, drive a pickup. also she prefers the guys with the "cool" (BS) imports...which would be the the above people i just mentioned. i dont even bother with her. big whoop de do i guess.
Jealousy definitely goes hand in hand with psycho. Tell your nephew that if she is the right psycho for him, then she will come back to him, and if not, he'll have to chalk it up to experience and wait on the right psycho to come along.
There was only one girl that I ever really liked. I dropped the hint for like two years, and really tried hard for one full year. She was droping small hints like "get away, your stupid", over time I had written several notes to her and she actually liked them, infact once or twice she told me that I was "a really nice guy", then she said that she wishes her boyfriend would write her notes like that!!!!!!!!!!!! Then her friend (which was a stuckup hitch) started spitting food at me in class!!!!!!!!! Then she started rumors about me threatening peoples lives at school, then I got expelled, so I ended up promising myself to never mess with girls again. It's been two years now that I have been girl free!!!!!!!!!! But one question is left unanswered, how come I can overhaul diesel engines, troubleshoot hydraulic systems, diagnose electrical failures, but I can't understand how girls work?????????????
it's been about 10 years since prom and there have been a few... "OH SHE MUST BE THE ONE", then there is another one, and she is so... , then "I'VE NEVER FELT LIKE THIS BEFORE".... I guess the best thing to remember is we all have been there before and most of us have learned a great bit. Heck if I could go back to high school knowing what I know now, I would have done a lot of things different, includeing sittin around a feeling sorry or being fixed on one chick. Ahhhh- high school... wouldn't trade those experiences for anything, good luck to your nephew!
hmm how girls work.....the famous question im sure all guys have wondered. i dont think anyone will ever have an answer for that one...
I have an answer for that one. May not be the right answer, but an answer none the less.
I was visiting a cousin of mine about 12 or 13 years ago. My cousin was trying to be all cute with his 2 year old daughter, and in doing so, he somehow slipped in "BOYS ARE YUCKY." I was like "Ppbbbssssht" and laughed pop out my nose.
She replied "But you're a boy, daddy!" To which he said "No, I'm not a boy. I'm your daddy."
I can understand a dad looking out for the best interests of his daughter, but I thought his remark went a bit too far.
So my answer is this: "BOYS ARE YUCKY" is "programmed" into them at a VERY early age.
I believe it's kinda like String Theory: Some people understand parts of it, but nobody understands it all. And theres lots of contradicting points.
One thing that makes it impossible is most of the time THEY don't even know what they want. But remember, they crazy ones are probably that way because of a male (and vice-versa)
