problem #1
my abs light just started to come on.
my mechanic tells me that there is a module under the dash that might
need replacing. He cleaned the rear sensor. I worked ok for a few days but then the light came back on.
Any ideas?
problem #2
I believe the fuel pump is gone. I use to hear a faint humming from the back of the truck which is the fuel pump but not any more. Yep as you have probablied guessed my truck wont start. She wants to but engine is getting no gas.
Could my fuel pump be good and maybe I have some other problem? like electrical? I do not know.
I only payed a thousand bucks for the truck. Is it worth fixing?
Thanks for help

First, pull the engine codes. With those codes, we can tell you exactly what they mean. If you dont hear that hum, the pump is probably shot. It is possible that there is another issue. Do you have any electrical anomalies with this truck? If not, I would say its the pump. You could take a voltage tester to it, and see if its getting juice. If it is, bingo!
Make sure the pump is getting power. Check the fuses. There is also a saftey switch that shuts off the pump in an accident under the dash, make sure it isn't tripped.
If your brake fluid is low, often the abs light will come on.

on a '93 Bronco, this switch is located under the passenger-side kickpanel. there are several connectors under that panel, look for the one that has a plastic connector going into the bottom and a little red button mounted in the top of it. If that button is popped up, just push it back down and see if your fuel pump kicks on.
you can also check the voltage to your fuel pump with a voltmeter / multimeter. Turn the key to 'run' and test the voltage at the pump. that'll let you know for sure if you have power to the pump.
