anyone ever try this? The size is a little small, but need to do something quick so i can sell the 84. The window stuck down the other day, and i had to pull it while he switch was pushed, quess i had it up a little far, cause when i latched it it exploded. Got the 89 on the road, and need to get the other fixed quick, and we nor any of the other yards has a glass.
theres a thread from a LONG time ago on here. Someone recommended Lexan... the stuff Nalgene water bottles are made from... MUCH stronger than plexiglass and wont scratch as easy...
there were a bunch of other good suggestions on there as well.
i have done this. but i regret doing it, i spent 65.00$ for plexiglass i probably could have bought the glass from the junk yard but it was raining and couldnt wait.the plexiglass is flat where the original glass has an arc to it. this means you have a problem opening and closing the glass. it rattles and squeaks and it has quickly gottet all scratched. dont do it.
