Rubbing Noise

I have a 1989 Bronco with a 5.0 liter engine. It has an automatic transmission and locking hubs. I am getting a rubbing noise when I get the truck over 20-25 mph. It sounds like it is coming from the front end when I am in the driver’s seat. I have checked both rotors and the wheel bearings. There are no signs of uneven wear, everything seems ok. I also checked the fluid level in the front differential and it was fine. The problem persists when the car is running in gear or if coasting in neutral with the engine off. I just got brand new tires and the problem continued after they were put on. Does anyone have an idea of what might be causing it?

Check your motor mounts.

well, his problem continues in N with the engine off.... so I doubt the motor mounts could be causing this. My questions are: does the sound increase with speed? is it constant? Does the sound change as your suspension is compressed/decompressed? Also, you said you have locking hubs... I'm assuming you mean manual lockers instead of automatic. Are the hubs completely disengaging? An easy way to check this is to unlock the hubs, jack up the front of your truck, then watch the front driveshaft as you rotate the front wheels, one at a time. If the driveshaft moves you've got a hub problem. This may or may not be causing the sound you're talking about, but it would be a good thing to check while troubleshooting.
