Stupidest Board Question Evah! HELP!!!
HOW DO YOU CHANGE A TRUCK TIRE?? SO HIGH UP!!!
I am embarrassed to ask actually, but need to change on of my rear tires sooner than later.
Found the jack and iron under the hood - easy part.
Sorry for the silly question.
E-brake & chock the other tire(s)
Loosen lugs nuts a bit first.
Put the jack under the axle housing out near the tire. Use front axle housing if 4wd or solid part of front suspension if 2wd. There might be a sticker somewhere under the hood or in your owners manual that specify the jacking points. May want to use a block of wood under the jack if you don't want to crank so much or if the jack is on dirt(or soft hot asphalt).
Jack it up and do your tire change thing!
