Wiring Power Inverter

First off this is a great site I have learned a lot before ordering my van. I just picked it up, a 04 e-350 extended with a 6.0 psd. So fare it is a great truck. My ? is I want to hard wire a Vector 750w power inverter into the rear cab so I can recharge my cordless tool batt. This van has 2 batteries mounted on pass side frame rail.Where should I make my tap-in, The directions say to use 6 ga wire and a 75 watt fuse. Any help would be greatful.

I wired a 400W inverter in my econoline for my PS2 and my LCD. Its very easy. Run 4g wire (red) from the Positive + battery in the rear to the Red Post on the inverter. Then run the same 4g wire (black) and ground it on the vans chassis no longer then a couple of feet. Use the 4g instead of the 6g because you won't have any power handling problems. Its better to have a bigger gauge to carry the load especially for something like tools etc.

I assume you mean a 75 amp fuse..
if you are placing the unit at the back of the van using the higher gauge will help lower voltage loss.
