lol, i can just see that too, them are some heck of u joints to toast, how fast did they have it moving?

We pop start the semis at the farm or in the field once every few weeks...whenever something goes wrong.

Never had to pop start a car. Figure I will have to on my Ranger eventually, but when the time comes, I will.

Is there a way to pop start an auto?

not unless its a really old tranny that has the 2 fluid pumps. you have to have fluid pressure for the tranny to transmit power.

Just remembered, I once saw two people (friends of mine) push start a Cat D8 with an F-350 diesel. Guess the pony motor for the Cat needed some carb work, and the pickup was easier.

Are staters burning out a real problem. I have not had one burn out on me yet.

Use reverse

Works fine in my friend's Model A.
