What are you using, Mozilla or Firefox. I just switched from Mozilla to Firefox. I like Firefox better. Also use Thunderbird for mail/news groups. It needs a bit of growing yet, but works okay for non-binary groups. For those I use Xnews which will handle multi-part and yenc just fine.
Make sure you look at the extensions, especially if you are using Firefox. Adds other features that are nice. Just need to pick thru them a find what you are looking for.
I have to use Internet Exploder for a few things at work, but mostly use Firefox. Get tired of all the security "features" with IE. There is one they still haven't fix, that will allow someone to make a page that looks like a Microsoft page, but isn't. The site bar will still say it is Microsoft. Tried it in Mozilla, it showed the real page address.

I used Mozilla, Firefox, and Opera for a while. I thought it was nice at first. Lots of cool features and the pages loaded fast. However, after a while the pages started loading extremely slow in all of those browsers no matter what I did and I got tired of the "cool" features that didn't turn out to be so useful. I went back to IE. Now just recently I installed My IE 2 and so far I love it. It is basicly IE with tons more featuers like tabbed browsing, mouse gestures, and lots of other little things. Do a Google search and see if you like it.
I use Mozilla as my primary browser. I have one program that uses IE and I get reminded of why I don't like IE when I see the pop-under ads when I leave.
I use the tabs in Mozilla extensively.
I have Opera also and use it occasionally.
Hi Ho, it sounds like you did not have something configured properly. Mozilla and Opera have a lot more configuration options than IE.
It was configured properly. In IE the Google Toolbar is a great way to eliminate pop-ups. It really works well. I like My IE 2 better than Mozilla or Opera.
On my computer I can see no difference in speed between Mozilla and IE. I use Mozilla because it has what I want - speed, stability, no popup/under/install me now! ads, and tabs.
Just so you IE guys know, the popup companies have now found a little "extra" (I call it a hole) in ActiveX that allows them to install programs to your computer without you clicking that handy yes button...
Opera doesn't do that
I love Opera.
