A dealer in town has a 04 F-250 4x4 6.0 crew cab that was ordered in November 03 and not delivered till March. The orderer decided he did not want the truck and got his deposit back. The commercial sales rep told me it was an x-plan purchase.
The question is...once a dealer buys a truck under x-plan doesn't he have to sell it at the x-plan price? I thought I read that somewhere in all of these threads.
If that is the case, what should the price be in relation to "dealer invoice" or MSRP?
You have to qualify for X-Plan pricing before you can get it. All vehicles are sold to the dealers at the same price; once they sell it X-Plan, they get reimbursed by Ford. Just because it was ordered X-Plan doesn't mean it gets sold at that price.
