E-450 Electric brake connector

All,

Does anyone know where the factory plug to connect an electric brake controller in a 2002 E-450? Nobody I have asked seems to know if it even has one, and these people include 2 RV dealers and a Ford Truck dealer. At least the guy at the Ford dealer knew what I was talking about. The RV dealer had no idea, which worries me, as this is sort of their business. Anyhow, anyone know?
Just so I am clear here, I am looking for the female connector that accepts an adapter harness for a Tekonsha "Prodigy" electric trailer brake controller. This connector should be located somewhere under the dash of the truck.

Thanks!!

i would imagine its in the same location as a super duty, which is right under the dashboad, above accelerater pedal basically. i can stick my head down there and see it on my truck.

On the E-Series it is on the left side behind the parking brake pedal.

Casey and Iskybantilus,

Thanks for the replies. Casey, when you say behind the parking brake pedal, do you mean toward the engine compartment (looking at it from the drivers seat) or to the left of the pedal assembly (looking at it from a side view)?

thanks!!

All,

Found it. it was pretty much right where Casey said it was. Thanks a bunch!! I have been trying to find someone who knows the answer to this for about a month. Actually the plug was in clear view, but since it was next to a harness that has black tape around it, it was hard to see.

Finally I can sleep.......
