front driveshaft

thanks guys. I'm going to have an issue converting my driveshaft, I guess. Does anyone know of a good way to do it? These old trucks are hard to find in a lot of the local wreckers' yards, especially the small-block C6 config.

I'm not sure what your issue is? Yokes? Length? I imagine its just length. Just take your ds to a shop and have them cut and balance it to your specs.

yo Pro thanks for the hit. I am taking my dl to a strong shop here in ABQ. Do you know if they can fit a spline assembly on my oem shaft, cut off the yoke?

You'd have to ask the shop you're taking it to. What are you trying to match up?

The output shaft from the C6 and the front end of the front driveshaft. I spoke to the driveline guy when he did my gearset, but not lately. I don't know why I can't find a stock unit, actually.
