I seen this on Ebay, I ordered one and have yet to put it in, what do ya'll think that it is. It is supposed to increase power by 8-10%, hmmm. I am new to this and I don't want to mess up my truck. http://www.vseriesengineering.com/index.html
It hooks inline of the "IAT" ? Someone said something about a "cheap" trick about a resitor from Radio Shack.. Just wanted your ideas on it.
Have to agree I have seen those and they are just a resistor. They can warranty it because 90% of the people will not return them so the 10% that do they still got all that other money. It basically costs them nothing.
I could not help myself, I had to see what this is. I will take it apart when it gets here and let ya'll know what's inside... I wondering what will be inside, one small resitor and some wires or what?
John "The Myth Buster" hahaha
It always baffles me when someone will try to save $100 at the expense of trashing their vehicle. The old saying about penny wise....
If you don't have the money to play with your vehicle: don't. If $100 is going to break the bank, what's going to happen if you can't pass emissions or the penny saving ends up costing you more because it needs to be repaired?
I posted that response as a joke, since it was the only possible answer other than not ruining a perfectly good functioning engine by installing some half-baked widget
