To Monsterbaby- Dude, I was'nt trying to rattle your cage , I'm that "long haired *******" with the orange, tube frame, tractor tired,4wheel steer job. Funny thing, you know Paul Long, he won the points in the open class at reasoner,- well I set the engine in his rig back 18 inches last spring, built new driveshafts, modified his frame for p/s-you get the idea. Here I was kicking *** all summer at Guthrie and Greenfield , and I heard he was doing the same at reasoner, so I thought" I'm gonna go take him down". Well you were there , I beat everybody running their big blocks and paddle tires but the one guy I went to beat- he took me out both times. Anyway, after doing obstacle style, straight line just seems boring to me,plus , they run their races at reasoner in a very shoddy way -just my opinion. Good luck this year , as long as fords are winning- thats all that matters. TO Texan1983 The guy that sold you the bumpers just got done building a new rig -tube frame,coilovers,EFI460,doublerT-case,Rockwells,early bronco sheetmetal. I 'm looking forward to seeing it completed. Central Iowa four wheelers are okay- not the same club but theres a lot of people that belong to both clubs. Central Iowa seems to be mostly a jeep club MIOBI is mostly fullsize. You should come out and play, so what if you dont know anyone-they are all good people and will look out for you. You can get there by going south out of Knoxville on I think its higway 5 (goes from Knoxville to Albia) NOT 14 . watch for a sign for a little town called Marysville(or something like that). Dont turn there- that sign just means you are getting close. Afew miles farther you will be coming around a right hand curve with trees to your right and then -POW!!! ther will be a field filled with tents, campers and of course trucks. YOU have to be watching the traffic behind you because you will have to get on the brakes hard to make the entrance. If theres someone on your *** it's probably best to go on and turn around somewhere and come back. time doesnt matter it'll be going on all weekend. I wont make it untill about noon or so, on saturday, Im gonna hit the swap meet in Des Moines first . If you want to meet me there and trek on over ,that'd be cool . Look for a red 82 Bronco on 36 inchers,no top, I'll be pulling it on a trailer . If its raining really bad I probably wont go -we dont go on the trails if its very muddy because it tears them up pretty bad and the smaller tired rigs cant get around.
to wildstallyn73 yea I know Paul he live about 10miles from me, and built a new engine for his ride this year, and yea I agree reasoner does run there stuff shoddy, I like lamoni better, and will try sygrony this year plus plan on running in MO where the money is better, expecially since they told us that both me, and that yellow S10 are still going to be allowed in superstock, so if they will let us run with our rigs they won't have much of a race left. Actually all of the points champions came from down in this area this year, and they where all fords guess that should say something huh.
by the way which race where you at I looked at the last race, and didn't see you on the tape, so will have to go back through some of them and find you, so I can see what that rig looks like.
And if you do come to a race I am at be sure, and say hi, I have changed my ride this year you can see what it looks like in my gallery
I was at the next to last race at reasoner -Im not racing this year, possibly for good.Decided to spend my summer working on my new trailrider . A summer full of racing really eats up the free time. I will be helping out with the Osceola events though.
