No doubt . . . Ho's been mighty quiet lately. He's not playing a banjo is he??? Kind of like the NW forum. I get voted in and all of a sudden everyone disappears. I can hear my own keystrokes echo in there!

Jason, what's "cutts" all about?
They are waiting to see if you come through on your campaign promises of my scotch if I orchestrated a win. Or maybe thats just me
[QUOTE=Texan1983]wyldstallyn73- i am not in any clubs here in Iowa, and i am always interested in wheeling. you live in iowa? what part?
I see under your location you list no where to wheel well you could go to the mud drags in reasoner about 5miles south of newton, or go to the races in Guthrie center, although I personally don't like that type of racing also greenville lamoni, Mt Ayr segonary, and there is several places just for fun like the offroad park in Indianola (not sure how to get there but have heard alot about it)
The first mud drags at reasoner or on May 2 next sunday, my truck won't be ready but you can still have fun beating up on chebbies , just don't get matched up with the yellow S10 but I will be ready for the next one, and hopefully any others I can find
Oh yeah, the Scotch . . . didn't forget but I've had a ton of stuff going on. Okay, I'll be busy as hell through the weekend so it'll have to wait for next week.
Alright Fishy, Cutts it will be. I was having a hard time figuring that out . . . not that it was really that complicated or anything but I'm mentally challenged.
Monsterbaby, are you sure about this off-road park? i have looked, asked and begged and there is'nt much here that i can find. i am not much into the mud races since i have 33" all-terrains and they SUCK! but i like to play in the mud.

The park in Indianola I cannot be sure just heard about it alot, I do know there is another one I believe in Attica, That is in an old strip mine, and have several friends that have built buggies just to go there and play, and keep trying to get me to bring my truck down, but with a 4000rpm stall that wouldn't be much good for that kinda playing, and there is always mud roads when it rains, I will try, and get directions to the one in attica, and maybe I can find some more out about the one in Indianola.
you should try the races in Guthrie it isn't alot of mud but they run more of what I call tough truck, and you don't need swampers to be competetive there.
To Texan 1983 and Monsterbaby- Guthrie Center, Greenfield and now Osceola will each be having 4 races over the summer. As Monsterbaby said they are not straight line races, but a kind of obstacle course in the mud. I am a two time OUTLAW points champion (shameless, self-indulgent,arrogant *****-arent I!!!) Winterset has one during their county fair also. I havent heard about any off-road park around Indianola, but I go to the one at Attica (south of Knoxville) quite frequently. It's a pretty awesome place- you'd never believe theres such a great place to play in IOWA!!! We are having an event this weekend. One of our club members has a birthday/wheeling celebration every year , kind of our first big event of the year. We also have big events over Memorial day and Labor day weekends, but we charge to get into those. for this one, in the past people were encouraged to bring food donations for the food pantry of iowa. Our club is called Make it or Break it. If the website has been updated recently it might have enough info if youre interested. It's www.miobi.org if theres not sufficient info for you, reply back and I'll get you some. Monsterbaby- times are a changing- obstacle course/mud racing keeps growing while the straight line stuff is petering out. You dont want to be that guy that says "back in my day-bla-bla-bla.

Thats funny because "back in my day " the obstacle course stuff died out almost to the point of bieng none existant for 2 reasons, one guys finally got tired of spending all there money fixing stuff, and two no tracks could get the insurance in that area after a driver was severly hurt, one spectator killed, and one cripple because of a breakage that cause a truck to go wild, and nationally straight line mud drags is the fastest growing sport (atleast according to espn last year at the nationals in indianapolis) besides I am too old for that obsticale stuff anymore it just hurts me bieng roughed up like that but I won't go to pavement racing I would rather just quit. Oh and Iowa is the only state that the obsticale coarses are growing, I heard 3 of them in southern MO switched to straight line drag, the problem in this state is noone wants to pay anything out for prize money so the really good trucks stay south, Oh, and they said the same thing about drag racing because circle burning was the only way to go straight line was too boring.
Congrates on the season points winning, feels good don't it, I was the season points winner in superstock last year, yea I get to toot my horn too.
i was thinking of joining central iowa 4wheelers, and it looks like alot of those guys are on that page too. are they members for both or is it the same thing? and that guy with the big bronco on rockwells... i bought some bumpers off of him a while back and he even modifided them to fit for me (i didn't have a cutter of welder at the time) nice guy, he told me i should join that they have alot of fun, but i don't know anyone else in that club and i hate being that guy that shows up and no one knows, that and my truck would feel inferior. and we can't have that! any more info, like directions, times, dates, and what not would be great. maybe we could all meet at one and brag about our trucks.
