I'm not sure if you can change them over or not. But, I know if I ordered something and it came back wrong, I would make the dealer fix it or order me another truck!!!

That doesn't sound right.... Did you already accept it?? The only difference should be the turn signals & clearance, but they sould have used the same wiring harness..

Good Luck,

Russ

They can be changed out, you just have a lazy dealer. I don't know if you ordered your truck or not, but if you did, and you ordered the mirrors, the dealer should fix it. Otherwise, those mirrors are all over e-bay and an easy swap.

I bought a 2004 SD with small power mirrors. Part of the deal was to up-grade to the pull out power tow mirrors. The dealer told me it was two bolts and hook up the wire harness. It took them less then 1 hour to change them over, so I gotta think he was right!!

Diesel Driver.... Yes they did have the clearance lights and turn signals in them.
To deliver the truck, they removed a pair from a unit they had on their lot and put them on mine. They then ordered new mirrors for the stock unit. As I said, it took them less then an hour to install them.
My truck is a 2004 F-250 S/C XLT with a V-10 eng. Since the only options on this truck were the engine and trans, and XLT package, I can't believe that the wiring package is not installed as standard equipment. The rest is simply bolt-on
