Wait for the TorqShift?
I'm just about to get a new truck to replace my 88 F150. I'm 85% settled on getting the SD over the F150 for a variety of reasons. Primarily I want leather seats and an 8' bed. Probably will be the 5.4L Lariat SC. 
After reading MarkII's post regarding the changes in the 2005 SD, I'm wondering if it's worth waiting just to get the 5 spd auto. 
I'm sure the existing trans would be fine for my application, but since I can wait a few months, should I?
Most of my towing will be in the 5000# range, with the occasional 8000# (maybe once a month, tops).

Right now the difference between the 4R100 and TQ shift is $385($327 invoice) Those 18" wheels and tires gotta cost more than the 16 inchers... The 3 valve engines more too. Just guessing, I would say the 05's will cost $500 to $1000 more than an 04 not including price increases...
