Prices Are Going Up, I'm Afraid...

Ford is discontinuing its Blue Oval incentive it pays to its certified dealers, which will definitely have a negative impact on our profits. My $500 below invoice pricing on F-Series (150-550), Expedition, and Excursion will apply to any '05/'06 ordered by the end of May, but it's almost inevitable it will go up after that.

Add in the fact that Ford loves to raise base prices on its trucks on a regular basis (the '05 150s have already gone up ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS since September), and this may be your best time to place an order, particularly the 2006 Super-Duty. If you wait for Ford to announce a rebate on the '06, most of it will be offset by the price increases you'll have to pay in the meantime.

Just imagine when the new Super Duty hit the market. I bet there will be no deals to be found then. $1000 base price increase on a f-150 sounds extreme. It seems the price of everything these days goes up more that the 3% that is used as a guide of a price increase from year to year. For us Super Duty owners that dont use thier trucks as Super Duties on a daily basis, are starting to be priced right out of the truck market. I own a Super Duty and use it as a super duty about 20% of the time. Hey up here in New England the average price of a 3 bedroom home is over 300K. Not much left over in the budget for a 35k truck.

Oh well. Guess I drive my 03' until 13' ten years and 200k has to be expected to afford life these days.

Rant Over

How do I get a price from you on an '05 F350 SD, LWB, CCab, Auto, FX4, Lariet? Would it be better for me to purchase in Texas and save the drive? Thanks! Also What can I expect for my 03, ccab, f250, lariet, 2wd, auto, 94K miles, in good condition?
