I have a 76 F100 with a 9" that i thought had 3.50 but with a little help from a wire brush i found the tag and i has 4.10 on it, so to double check i jacked up one wheel turned it around twice and the tail shaft did four full turns, I also have a 79 F100 with 9'' buy jacking up one wheel and turning it around twice found that it has 3.00 in it.

rear end i.d

can anyone help me i.d my rear end?8"or9"? i have the tag,it reads as such wdm-u 3.70 8cc 302. any help would be good as im looking to replace gear ratio due to motor & trans. swap,to much gear.
