Stereo question
I need help, will the factory stereo from my 2001 F150 fit in my 1997 F150?
I don't know which years are interchangable. They look the same but I want to know that they are interchangable before I start to swap them out.
Also how is the best way to remove them?

You need a pair or removal tools which you can purchase at many auto parts stores. Remove the bezel around the radio/heater controls, then with the removal tools insert the tool on each side and push outward while pulling the unit out. You will only be able to verify interchangability by pulling both and comparing the connectors on the rear. Some use one, some use 2, or 3 depending on type of unit and auxillary amplification, cd, etc.
