1980 302 block

i have a 80 model block i want to put the roller cam and lifters from a roller motor,cam is new . i didnt realize till i messed with the motor how old it was because someone put newer model accessories such as serpentine setup, so i assumed it was a late 80s early nineties block anyway will the conversion work or am i wasting my time

does it have the 2 threaded holes in the lifter valley. not the big holes but the small ones. if it does then you can use a stock roller cam. if not than you have do go aftermarket.
