DVD Help

I'm getting closer.... I recently purchased a factory DVD player from E-Bay for my 02 EX. (NOT A ONE DAY INSTALL!!!) After a lot of advise I finally have it installed however..............The radio doesn't seem to recognize it. The DVD player works great but I don't have any sound, the radio continues to play even though the DVD is on. I have the single CD/cassette radio. Does anybody know if I have to press anything to get sound, it cycles through FM1 FM2 AM even CD and cassette but I never see DVD. I didn't go through all this to watch silent movies............. any suggestions. Once I get my system working properly I will be glad to post how to instructions so you don't go through what I did.

I may be wrong but I believe you need the "Dual Media" player. Not sure if your stock unit will work.

Dual Media Player?

Is the "Dual Media Player" a different OEM radio that can handle the DVD player? The one I have alreday has single CD and Cassette.

Im not sure. Mine has DVD selection, along with all the FMs and AMs and CDs.

DBS, send me an email on what you bought to get the DVD working. I got one off of ebay myself over a month ago and it is still sitting in my house. I have the dual media system w/ 6 disc changer and controls for the rear seating. Bill4kath@aol.com
