460 Cam Lobes

Has anyone ever noticed that the lifters do not sit directly over the cam lobes on the right bank. Some of them are at least a 1/4 off of center. I threw away the old cam before I noticed this, so I don't have any reference. I bought a new Millings stock cam and a Crane RV Cam and they are both the same. Am I nuts or is this normal? Does anybody have any idea?

This is done on purpose. By the lifter sitting off to one side, it helps it to spin in the bore and keeps it wearing evenly. Nothing to worry about.
