transfer case options

Whats better? a married or a divorced transfer case? it seems you would lose alot of power going through that second shaft witha divorced case. is it worth changing to a married?

I don't know that it is worth it to change if the transfer case arrangement you have now is working alright. You shouldn't lose any power, unless your driveshaft is wasted, and then it would only be for second while the slop in the shaft is taken up. The increased rotating weight of the extra driveshaft would technically mean a loss in power, but the amount, I would think, is so minimal as to be unnoticeable. The change would be expensive, requiring both main driveshafts to be modified for length and the crossmemeber most likely to be moved to remount the case in the new position. The move would also cause increased angularity in the front shaft. I don't know if in your application that would be ok or not. I would not bother with it.
