351m vs 302

351m vs 302
i have a 1979 ford f150 with a 351m in it. i recently purchased a 86 bronco with a 302 in it. i am wanting to fix up my 79 truck but i dont know which engine to put ib it. and how much hp does a stock 302 and a stock 351m put out? please help.

stock? 138ish for the 302, 158ish for the M.
The M is a torque motor, there is a lot of performance advice readily available in our Cleveland engine forum.
The 302 is cheaper to rod, but everyone and their dog has one.

find a good 460 and put it in your truck i am finishing up mine within the next week.make sure you get as complete engine as possible.STOCK 460 puts out 224 hp @4400 rpm and 357 lbs/ft torque at 2800 and it's real easy to go up from there
