Bellhousing Swap??????
Ive Got A Question For All You Gearhead's Can I Swap The Bellhousing From My Bigblock C-6 To A Smallblock Bellhousing??to Fit The 302 Or 351w Here's What Im Tryin To Do.i Want To Swap My 400m Out And Put A Smallblock 302 Or 351w In My Truck For Preformance Reasons,,it's Cheaper To Build A 302 And There Is Alot More Preformance Options For The 302 Or 351w Than There Is For 351-400m. Let Me Know Please!!

the C-6 is a one peice cast unit therefore the bellhousing is not removeable you could however find a smallblock C-6 case and swap all your internal parts into it or just find another small block C-6 I have had 2 trucks with small blocks and C-6 trannys one 1988 f-150 4x4 and one 1994 f-350 towtruck (wrecker) 2wd dually both had 5.8 (351W) engines

I thought that the C-6 trans case was all one piece.
