getting a Banks Ottomind
I found a site that I can buy a Banks Ottomind chip and
I won't have to buy the whole expensive kit, just the
chip. It's 350+shipping, I will probably add either straight
pipe or a high flow muffler. Im either going with the 45hp
or the 60 hp one. Can't decide which one yet. I can't
wait to get it too.

Are you aware that the webmaster of this site, Ken Payne, burns both Diablo and Superchips programs? and that both of them are superior to an old school ottomind tune?
I'd wager he will beat that price too if you give him a call.

I've been running the Diablo 54/78 chip for almost a year now. Excellent performance, not a single hiccup! I bought it from Motorhaven with the LED light and ECU disable option.

I love my Edge Evolution, far superior to my old single position chip. It's nice being able to change settings if I tow the trailer or just want to blow smoke and rip up the pavement. For the price, I'd look at a programmer or a flip chip. Banks does make good products but are you really going to be happy spending $350 and only getting 45 hp if you decide on that setting?? Once you start to mod for power, you'll want to do more and a flip chip or programmer will help you do that better than a single position chip.

Well, I have the ottomind chip. It came with the stinger package. Do yourself a favor and listen to these guys. Right now I am saving up for one of the tuners they sell on motorhaven. Just have to decide which one! you are not going to get the gains OR the milage you would with the tuner.

well i made up my mind not to get a banks chip. Instead
i got a edge ez module. I havent got it yet, I ordered it
last wednsday from totally custom trucks for 332.10. cant
wait to get it and see what it does, heard their pretty good.
