Turbo question

I have the stock turbo from my 01. My transmission guy has a 96, I believe. He wants my old turbo for his truck. We'll trade for work to be performed on my truck.

1. Will this 01 turbo work on his 96?
2. Will there be any benefits for him?

1. No, not without your pedestal, up pipes, downpipe, etc.

2. No. In fact I think Ford took a step backwards from the 97 to the 99's
