Intakes
First, I am sorry if this question has been asked before and I didnt find it. There is so much information here on this site that I just couldnt read it all.
I am wanting to know what the best intake is for a FE. I have a 390 which is my daily driver, but more and more is also seeing both ends of the 1/8 mile in Mooresville NC. I am currently running a stock intake, 1" pholonic spacer, 670 street avenger carb. I cant remember the cam size. I will look that up.
What is better, medium riser, High riser, Cobra Jet, Police Interceptor, or Streetmaster. How about the Edlebrock RPM Performer and the one that Holley makes under the Wienand name. It doesnt look much different than the stock intake (the Holley intake that is). I know that my biggest problem is the rearend (3.00 yeah I know it sucks on the strip), and hope to find a 3.25 or 3.50 for a 31 spline in the future. Any input is appreciated. KURT
