okay i just got some extra money and i wanna get a digital camera. my duget is 120 dollars. i dont care about resoultion very much but which ones would you folks reccomend? im thinking of going for oylumpus they are a very reputable brand it sure would be nice to have a camera.
http://www.pricewatch.com/menus/m73.htm I bought a Sony DSC-S85 about a year ago. Its 4.1 megapixels. It does way more than I need. The prices I see now for the digital stuff makes my cry over what I paid for this.
I sell digital cameras where I work and for that price range you could get a Kodak 6200 (basic point and shoot, 2.0MP, 3x digital zoom, 8MB internal memory plus SD card slot) for 100 bucks. For $130 there's a camera by Olympus called the D-390 (2MP, 2.5 digital zoom, 16MB xD-picture card included). It's a nice camera and is really intuitive to use. If $150 isn't too much HP's 435 is good as well. 3.3MP, 5x digital zoom and 16MB internal memory is pretty good. It's easy to use and setup. Pretty recommended for the novice or beginner. And no that is not a sales pitch!
Those are my ideas for a camera around those prices. Good luck and happy hunting!
You can get that HP 435 @ circuitcity for $130 after rebate http://www.circuitcity.com/searchres...&u=c&first=yes. That's a screaming deal. I got my dig cam four years ago back when they were pretty new to the world; $400 for an Olympus with 2.1 megapixel.
