Power Window Issues
Hey there everyone, I have a little prob with my drivers side power window. It happened last night when i went to roll it down, i heard a loud bang from somewhere in the door area. The window would still go up and down but there was the sound of something loose in the door area. I tore off the door panel this morning and found what was making the noise. It was at the point where the "scissors" for the power windows meet and there is a spring looking thing with a hook on one end that is loose, and it looks like the scissors thing is going to fall out of its place. I have never worked on windows before so im not sure what this spring thing is supposed to do. But it is loose and rattles in the door. The window does still go up and down but want to fix it so i dont have to worry about it falling down and not able to come back up. It looks like the spring is supposed to attatch to something, but i have no idea what! If anyone could help me out i would greatly appreciate it! thanks!
