What have I done????

[COLOR=black][FONT=Verdana]I was going through the steps to replace the door lock actuator on the passenger front door and got everything working from the lock perspective. One thing I did was to remove the bolt that holds the window track on the bottom (below the actuator) to allow me to move the actuator/latch assembly out of the door. Put it all back together and now the passenger side window goes down about 2" then gets stuck. Will go up no problem (at this point) but it will only go down the 2" or so. It looks like the window is in the track and I have tried to lower the window with the bolt loose (even loosened up the other two on the door to allow the track to move a bit) but no go

Does it "slam" to a stop, or kind of 'bind up' (slowing to a stop)?

The window seems like it is binding up.

I would say to take the panel off again and look into the area with a light. The track will join in that area with the main upper track and it could just be miss aligned enough to bind. Maybe you have a pc you forgot to attach at the lock?
There really isn't a lot of things in there other wise.

Thanks for the assist - I looked at the track and guides as best I could and did not see anything there - of course I have very little idea of what I am looking at - but nothing obvious jumped out and said oh lookie here... No left over pieces either .

I lubed everything up real good and worked it and it now goes up and down and does not "seem" to have any obvious additional pressure than before I opened it up. Very strange - will have to keep an eye on it.

It sounds like you may have bent a rail so let's look at the "worst possible scenario".

Look carefully at the rails especially the lowest point where the window appears to be binding. GENTLY try to assist the window down while engaging the motor. Does the window go any further down?
