Please Help with Tranny

My Dad has a 92 model 150, Straight 6 with an auto tranny. The tranny seems to shift hard at times, its really sporadic. Hes had the tranny flushed at the Ford place, they also ran a diognostic on it with no results, Any ideas on where to start from there? By the way the truck has only 30,000 miles on it.

I can't help on this one. Nobody else is answering either. I will mark this for Mustang to move to the Transmission forum. Might get some answers there.

I'll give a little suggestion that worked for me. My mustang had the same problem except it was only doing it when it went into O/D. Seeing how they just flused it, did they remove the pan and change the filter also or just the fluid. If they didn't, I would replace the filter. If they did, get ahold of a small pump, you can buy them at the auto parts store and suck out about a quart of fluid. Buy and put in some Lucas A/T treament, about $14 and top off the tranny to correct level.
Worked great on the Stang. Hope this helps.
