Look at spending almost $1000 for a used one with little or no warranty. I had mine rebuilt for a $1000, then you know what you have. Be prepared though to spend upwards of $2000 if it is really hashed out.

Those prices seem a bit high to me.....but might be based on area.
That's about what the shops charge, Justin. I told them they were nuts when they wanted $1400 to do mine, sight unseen. All that was wrong with mine was that it wouldn't go into 4th. Tore it apart and done it myself for $350 including tranfer.
