For some strange reason she has laid off about it. I think a lot of this had to do with her giving her opinion......or the way she wanted it. I understand the whole power struggle thing. Once you give in, it can be a long relationship. She doesnt like those type of people.....so maybe she stopped short of being that type of girl.......I can only hope...LOL

As for the bike vs. girlfriend, if you let here "win" this one, it's all over. You'll never "win" another one again. If it's something you REALLY want, she should be able to understand and accept it. If she isn't willing to do that, I'd be giving the relationship a long hard think.

I gotta go with you on that one. My wife grew up in a house that was very anti-gun, while I grew up with lots of guns. While she didn't like the fact that I had several guns, she learned to live with it. That was almost 26 years ago now.
