Locking Gas Caps; got a reply from Stant!
E-mailed Stant in reference to their locking gas caps. Previously I had received the wrong one from my dealership that was 3 times the price as what's sold at Advanced Auto and both are made by Stant.......Any ways, the reply stated that the correct applications are the "boxed 10510 or carded 11510" and they will be available in late May.
** FYI, the cap I received from Ford parts dept was "boxed" and the one at Advanced Auto was "carded". I suppose the dealership adds a 200% surcharge for the extra packaging. Or maybe it's just "Market Adjustment"**
