Ok got a question what makes the camper special so different when it comes to headers. I have a 65 camper special with manual steering, I'm thinking about going the dynomax route ceramic coated headers. I might would consider the hedmans but there is a note that says will not fit camper special something about a anti sway bar. Anyways any professionals here that have any recommendations.
Who knows maybe they are just talking about later model camper specials after all the 65 was the first year for twin I beam suspension.
The camper special came with a heavier frame I believe..and suspension and a pig tail coming out from the cab for camper lights and accs..
I dont know about the 65?? but my 70 has the front and rear sway bars on it..Has the C6 tranny and the Dana 60 rear end.. I wish I could help you more...But..
I have the sway bar in the front of my F250 and Im running hedman headers..

Pizzaboy, I think you will probably be okay with the headmans. The sway bar they are refering to is somthing in the back, it had to do with carrying a camper on the back of the truck. Some CS trucks also had an extra fuel tank that is in the way. Maybe you can get ahold of 'BB', he remembers the camperspecial fitment issues better than I do. DF
