76 Camper Special and Headers

76 Camper Special and Headers
We have a 76 F-250 Extended Cab Camper Special with a 460 in it and we can not find a set of headers that will work with the camper special package.

We are not sure why CS is deifferent but, every header book that lists '76 F-250 with 460 has a foot note that says "will not fit camper special". We think there is a extra cross member there for the radius arms.
We also thought about fenderwell headers which would be fine except we don't think they will clear the steering box.

I've got Hooker Headers on my '77 F350 Camper Special and they fit fine. Be prepared though to unbolt the passenger side motor mount and jack up the motor to install them. My truck is a 460 2WD if that helps! I'm getting ready to add some Flowmasters as the no name glasspacks I have bolted up now just don't cut it.
