91 mazda r2 whine, normal?
I have just bought a used 91 f150 302 5sp 2wd. The manual transmssion makes a whining sound in almost all gears. I am not familair with this transmssion seeing as my last truck had the e4od. I am wondering if it is normal or if it needs to be adjusted some how. BTW when I drained it to change the fluid it had gear lube in it. it also seems to be leaking from the back passenger side, the bolts on the nose cone are tight but there is a drip from there. I am wondering if there is an overflow or if I need to replace the nose cone seal. any one had this problem or know what it may be?
