what causes a tire to cup? i have a 97 f-350 4x4 with 99k...everything on the front is tight...balljoints, TRE's, wheel bearings trac bar bushings etc.. etc. when i bought the truck the street tires that were on it were cupped pretty bad, now my bfg muds are starting to doit up front pretty bad and they have about 10k on them. i rotate every 5k and check the air pretty often. what causes this...could it be excessive toe in or toe out?
i need to go out and check my toe anyway...anyone know what to set it at?
You may be able to "ball park" the toe-in and get by but you need a full blown alignment by a QUALITY shop that stands behind their work. and I wish you good luck.
85351HO; The shocks may be at fault or if you want you can try rotating & balancing
every 3K miles instead, I thaught that 4X4's were at 3K mile intervals.
