Brake Fluid Leak
I have '89 F250. I'm not too sure on the terminology here, but I'll try my best. Underneath the container in which you add DOT 3 brake fluid there is a metallic pipe of some sort (I don't know very much about automotives). Where that pipe meets with a much larger cylindrical device (assuming it has to do with power breaks, possibly compression?) there is a leak. Does anyone know how I could go about stopping it? I tried tightening the screws, but it didn't seem to do anything. I'm not sure if I wan't to tighten them more. However, that could quite possibly be what I need to do. Any input would be handy, even describing the function of these objects are.

The metallic pipe is the master cylinder and contains the pistons that the brake pedal pushes on when you apply the brakes. The larger cylindrical device is the power brake booster and operates from engine vacuum.
The leak indicates that the seals inside the master cylinder are worn, and requires rebuilt or replaced.
