emmissions
anyone know whats need my 77 was striped of them when i bought it. i have no cats or anything ILL. whats to test me!!!302 with headers in to glass packs with a health cam 4bbl carb

yeah they want to supend my driver lic. for it. i dont drive it much in middle of a slow rebilud of drive trian. so he hell i dont even need lic. plates for it but the town i live has given me tickets for not having plates and a village sticker in the past.

they do an idle test ive come to find out on newer cars and trucks they put it on some kind of dyno for testing real world driving test.was there fri to find out was a lil wooried watching some young bucks who could tie there shoes testing other peoples stuff evert see a fwd car blow a tire doing 55mph on a dyno??? took out inner and outter fender and bumper cover when it blew and for them to say sorry it must have a bad tire!!! sorry your out of luck pal!!!!...............still i know i wont pass an idle tho hell dont even have a rear axle in yet insalling4.56 looker with disc brakes. well atleast thats the game plan.

I wanted a 77 but found my rust free 68 so I went with that.
As it turns out the emisions issue hasn't been a problem in my county but I may not live here for ever.
My 351W may not pass an emission test but there's not much else it won't pass!!

Here in Texas they don't test vehicles over 24 years old or something like that.
