i have a 93' 150 with a bench seat and i despritly need cupholders. its a manual so its kinda hard to steer, shift and hold your hot coffee at the same time! im hopping ot find sometihng that can be screwed into the floor between the stick and the seat. any ideas? Steve
i'm in the same boat. some of these trucks did have cup holders so if you go to a junk yard you may be able to find one. it sits near the shifter and i believe it hooks to the deat somehow. i found the the floor near the shifter it way to slanted to hold an aftermarket one and the holders that stick in the window are anoying. my dad's 96 f150 had a stock cup holder. it was nice because it didn't get in the way of the person sitting in the middle.
Not sure of cab design on the 93, but i have a 65, manual w/ buckets seats. Found a storage compartment w/ cup holders that sets on the transmission hump. Low profile, and does'nt take up much space, not too cumbersome for the person sitting in the middle. Find it works out great. Can not recall where purchased from. If interested, perhaps can find simular in JC Whitney, PEPBOYS, etc, or better yet, an RV supply source. May save some leg work if they have a web site and you browse their online catalog.
Good luck,
dave
