E4OD Drain Plug

Has anyone installed a drain plug on their tranny. I have '96 F250 4x4, 460. It would seem that Ford should have installed this so the maintenance would be easier.

E4OD Drain Plug

Ford does not care anything about ease of maint. IMO, the pan should be removed, the filter changed, the magnet cleaned, and the fluid changed at 25K intervals if you want any life out of the E4OD. The E4OD needs all the help it can get. Only my opinion and experience. ray
