I have heard that Wyoming's registration costs are very high, something like $500 or more. Is there anyone here from WY?

Here in MD it is 94.50 for 2 years. Doesn't surprise me if it is one of the highest.

My MarkVIII is a 93,It costs me $150 per year, luxury tax mumbo jumbo, but my truck runs about $50 a year. What gets me is,the car can be a rusted out piece of junk, but because it is a Lincoln, the price for plates will never go down. They also used to prorate your plate if it was not for a full year, meaning
if you bought the car in Feb and your plate expires in may,you would only have to pay for three months. This effects me because I store the car from October till April,Nope,no more prorating. Now I get sucked into paying for a plate to sit in my garage for 6 months.Funny I dont remember voting on this?More slime ball politics to burn the little guy.

In Illinois vehicle registrations run $75.00 yearly unless you want a special plate number like a vanity plate or environmental plate. Same for a car or pick-up truck.

Here in Southwestern Ontario, Canada it costs $75 a year for licence plate stickers. Or $150 for 2 years. It's a special deal for 2 years!

Correct on WA; they add for weight on trucks and they add agent fees bringing a typical pickup to around $40. But it could be worse............not too long ago we were paying 2% of high book. No more $400+ tabs .

Sorry Ironeagle, it's not that cheap, here in PA my '02 F250SD is $153 per year for tags + $78 per year for Emissions/Safety Inspection.

You can thank our Democratic Governor for that AND the new sales tax on cigarettes that will make Michigan the highest taxer of cigarettes in the US.
I have to register 7 vehicles and that just plain sucks.
We also all got hit for an extra $40/vehicle in across-the-board no-fault insurance hikes.
