Supercharged 390?

Supercharged 390?
I have a 390 that I want to supercharge, (or turbocharge I'm not picky), but with either system I want to keep it all under the hood. I was wandering if anyone had any idea of a manufacturer who builds a "kit" for this or am I pretty much on my own researching and mixing, matching and tuning untill I find something that works. Is there a simpler way to do this with a 390? Before you all tell me that I should get a different motor. I know that the 5.0 has lots of forced induction options, but I'm looking for a mix of old & new. The 390 goes in 68 Mustang, it is the stock motor and I foolishly want to stick with it. The problem is that I can't stand the idea of a 400hp rice burner beating me light to light, or good Lord forbid in a quarter mile. Any help with forced induction is most appreciated.

Time to buy a Vortech and just make some different brackets to fit an FE. Should not be that hard. Maybe Vortech will work with you on it and make the bracket. A couple extra holes in a version they already have and a couple new spacers. If they will bolt on a 460, there is no reason it should not go on an FE.
